Terry Brazier, owner,
attended the London College of Furniture and then worked for a Bond Street Antique Dealer
before establishing Kendals in 1982.
For several years Terry owned an antique shop in London. As the parking problems became
more difficult, it was decided to concentrate on the furniture restoration side of the
business that has become steadily busier.
Kendals was taken from the name of the cottage in Huntingdon from where the business was
started. |

|
Gary, Restorer / Polisher, joined Kendals in 1985. He has been trained in all aspects
of furniture repair and French polishing and now looks after the day-to-day running of the
repair department. |
|
John, Upholsterer, came
to Kendals when Terry Brazier purchased an existing Upholstery business in 1989. John's 23
years experience in this field has complimented the restoration business making Kendals
one of the few companies who offer the full range of skills, which customers have come to
rely on. John is responsible for the Upholstery department and often looks after the
incoming phone calls when Terry is out of the office. |

|
James,
Trainee Restorer / Polisher, joined the company in 2002 and is currently working closely
with Gary Batterbee under the watchful eye of Terry Brazier. As well as continuing his
training, James is often seen assisting with the collecting and delivering of customers'
furniture. |
|
Bob has been a cabinet
maker and furniture restorer for over thirty five years.
He is, in all senses of the word, a craftsman whose skill and depth
of knowledge greatly adds to the team at Kendals. |

"At
Kendals, we believe that the customer is always right - most of the time!"
