1. Services

We provide a variety of furniture restoration services, including but not limited to, stripping, refinishing, repairs, upholstery, picture framing and other related services. We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel an order at any time, at our discretion, and due to the complexities of our work, estimations and quotes may not cover the final balance.

2. Price and Payment

The price for each of our services will be provided to you prior to our beginning services. Payment is due in full prior to the completion of any services.  We accept payment via credit/debit card, cash, cheque, or other methods we may accept from time to time.

3. Warranty

We guarantee the quality of our services and materials used. If there is any issue with the workmanship or materials used, we will work with you to repair or replace any defects up to one year after the completion of services.

4. Limitation of Liability

You agree to assume all risk for any damages that may occur to your furniture, or any property in your home, due to our services. We will not be liable for any damages, losses, or expenses incurred as a result of our services.

5. Termination

You may terminate a service at any time; however, you will be liable for all payment for services completed up to the time of termination. We reserve the right to terminate a service for any reason, at our discretion.

6. Failed Collection/Delivery

Whilst we make every effort to deliver or collect your furniture in the advised time slot, these are given in good faith, and we will not be liable if we fail to adhere to these times due to circumstances beyond our control.

If delivery or collection is attempted but we are unable to gain access to the property and/or we are unable to get the furniture into the property due to access issues, a charge will be made to the customer, by Kendals, for the time incurred.

7. Storage Charges

If you are unable to receive delivery of your finished furniture once it is finished, we may be able to store this for you until such time as you can take delivery.  Please contact us to discuss storage charges as these will apply from when the furniture is ready to be delivered.

8. Unclaimed Items

We will attempt to make all reasonable efforts to contact any customers who have items left at our premises. If after 6 months from the date of us attempting to make contact, we have not received any correspondence from the customer, the items will be disposed of, and the customer will be liable for any costs incurred in doing so.

9. Governing Law

Under UK law, furniture restoration businesses must comply with all relevant consumer protection regulations. This includes the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Sale of Goods Act 1979. These laws guarantee buyers the right to return faulty goods within a certain timeframe, as well as providing them with certain consumer rights when it comes to quality, fitness and durability. Additionally, businesses must ensure that any furniture restoration services they provide meet the necessary safety standards and are fit for purpose. Finally, businesses should ensure that any materials used in their furniture restoration services are of a high quality and must ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to.

While we abide to UK law, our charges are made in relation to our time, skill and expertise. In a rare instance of dissatisfaction, our time and cost of materials would be factored into any refund.

By using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
