Colours

All of our mountboards are acid free meaning they will not chemically react with any paint, inks or materials they come into contact with, nor will the bevelled edges yellow over time, as with other cheaper mountboard. There is a massive selection of surface colours and 3 core colours available (the colour of the edge).

Textures & Finishes

Alongside our variety of colours, there are several different textures and materials to choose from too. Including suede effect, linen and metallic finish.

Shape & Precision

Our state of the art, CNC mountboard cutting machine can cut almost any shape or design you can imagine with amazing precision. As well as cutting shapes out of the mountboard, we can also cut grooves into the mountboard to create a bevelled, decorative pattern.

Layering

We can layer anywhere up to 4 mount boards to create a sense of depth and enhance the piece even further. We also stock different depths of mountboard to suit a variety of pieces and objects.

Float Mounting

You may choose to mount your art work/pictures on top of the mountboard rather than underneath. This is referred to as float mounting and can create a really nice effect. We are also able to very carefully and precisely ‘tear’ the edges of your piece to create a softer look, this is a technique usually favoured for Giclee art work.
